Places I have Worked: 7UP Bottling - Oshkosh - salesman 10 years. American Express Financial Services - Oshkosh - Certified Financial Planner 20 years. Manage $50 million of peoples money(fun). 2 years of college at UW-O. Got married.

Places I have Traveled: I'm not going to bore you with details, I'll do that at the BASH. In short I've been to:Oregon,New Mexico(looking for winter retirement home),Memphis,St.Louis,South Dakota,Las Vegas, and Orlando.

About My Family: Spouse,Sara(Rapp) 1968 Oshkosh West graduate, were married in 1969(scary lasting this long).Sara works at Evergreen Retirement Community as an employee schedule coordinator, 20 years. Daughter, Corrie, age 30, graduates in May from Marion College,Fond Du Lac, Wi.as an RN. Son, Joe (another great Joe Scherer) age 27 Graduated from Lakeland College , Sheboygan in 1996 in business. Now working as a foreman for a landscaping company in Appleton, Wi. Hope he takes over my practicein 2 to 5 years, when I retire. Granddaughter, Kiri, age 7 (scarier) is in 1st grade at Trinity Lutheran(that's right no catholic school). Daughter of Corrie. Parents. Both of Sara's parents living at home in Oshkosh. My mom is still living on the lake in Oshkosh at age 84. My dad past away November 1999.

Future Plans: My future plans are to retire in2 to 5 years(scaries). I'm go to mans=age my stock portfolio, raise black labs,chauffeur rich old ladies in Las Vegas, pour soda at Disney,opena resturant that serves American,Chinese,German and Italian foods, duck hunt on my land in South Dakota, do volunteer work for Red Cross and Ducks Unlimited, and live to be 120 years old so my kids have to take care of me.

The person I most want to see at the 50th Birthday Bash is: In no particular order: Bob Sendele, Gene Ruetten, Barb Baum, Rochelle Yanke, Carmen Labudde, Sherry Simons, Dave Riechenberger, Plus the rest of you clowns (Mike Deiner, Dan Savinski, Jerry Meisinger, Steve Meinisinberger(not spelt right but so be it), Tom Florek,etc.

Response to Westend Pizza Get Together: I wish I could have made the Bash,but with all that happened I just could not make it. As most of you know my wife Sara had a major stroke on 9/20/00. She spent 8 weeks at Theada Clark 4 of which there was no movement at all and was kept alive by a ventilator. She also got meningitis in the hospital followed by a blood clot in her right lung. She was refused by 3 nursing homes because of the amount of care needed and the lack of staff. Finally a nursing home in Appleton took her and she spent 17 days before transfering to Bethel Home in Oshkosh. We expect to be in rehab for 3 to 6 months, in the hope she will recover the use of her left side. Her speech was not affected, but short term memory is spoty , but getting better.
