Places I have Worked: Shortly after getting my B.S. in Physics from UW-O, I got commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force and went on active duty. They sent me back to school at Texas A&M for a year to become a meteorologist. I spent the next 5 years as a weather officer, most of it spent developing computer software to do climatological studies. Since then I've been involved with computer hardware and software. I have worked for several defense companies and spent three years working for Texas Instruments. Until just recently, I worked for Fisher-Rosemount for 12 years developing software for process control systems used for a variety of purposes such as oil refining, paper making, food and drug manufacturing, and many other applications. Just recently I accepted an opportunity to join a startup company here in Austin Texas called Applied Science Fiction. They are involved in digital image processing applications. I still get to develop software but now I have the excitement of helping build a new product in an application area that is new to me.

Places I have Traveled: Thanks to the Air Force, I've been to the Azores. My wife Judy and I have been to Mexico and Canada. We've also been to the Pacific Northwest, Yellowstone National Park, most of the Rocky mountain states, much of the Southeast, the Midwest, and parts of the East.

About My Family: My mother still lives in Oshkosh. My dad passed away just recently after losing the battle with lung cancer. As for the immediate family, its just me and my wife Judy - no kids to brag about. Judy is a regestered nurse and has worked in intensive care units most of her career.

Future Plans: Ten years from now? That's almost retirement (I hope). I really haven't thought that far ahead as far as any specific plans are concerned.

Are you attending the 50th BD Bash? I would like to, but my new job and living so far away will make it very difficult
