Places I have Worked: i received my BS degree from UW-O in L&S with double majors in Psychology and History. From there I had a six month stint as a commision based Insurance Agent. I was never a good salesman. So i went back for an MS in ED Guidance & Counseling. (emphasis community counseling) This was my only choice because I didn't have a teaching background. I ended up being a Case Manager in a Sheltered Workshop for DEvelopmentally Disabled Adults. I worked there for 6 years. After 4 years I knew that I had to get out. I was unable to find jobs in any type of counseling. So I went back to school to become a Respiratory Therapist. I was frightened by this knowing I had just barely passed Chemistry in HS. However I also knew that I was able to explain to my wife(a nursing student at the time) what pH was. Well I aced all of my science classes and discovered a new me. From there I got a job at University Hospital in Madison. I have now been here almost 15 yrs.

Places I have Traveled: I have traveled to every state in the western United States except Nevada. I have also been to Mexico and Canada. With my family we have been to Disney World twice. The second time we all rode the Tower of Terrror and loved it. Linda and I were also extras in the Indiana Jones Stunt show. We had a great time there and we especially enjyed Typhoon Lagoon. We have also been to Grand Canyon National Park and Mesa Verde National Park. We enjoyed our little tour of the desert southwest.

About My Family: Linda and I have one daughter who will be eleven soon. She is the light of our lives. She is a very good artist and has had three pictures diplayed during youth art month. My wife Linda is an RN and works in the rheumatology clinic.

Future Plans: This summer we will be attending my neices' wedding in Tacoma Washington. From there we plan on traveling to Olympic National Park and then to Victoria on Vancouver Island. We would also like to take a trip to Europe before Dana is 18. I hope to retire by the time I am 62. Not true retirement though. I want to stay active. Maybe volunteer work or part time work not in my present field.
