    Mr. Bill Behring
Mr. Bill Behring passed away Friday afternoon, February 28, 2003
I was saddened this afternoon (2/28/03) to hear from classmate Mary (Doberstein) Strycker that Bill Behring passed away this morning. As Mary said in her email, "Such a great loss. He taught 2 generations of the Strycker family and touched so many lives."

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at St. Raphael’s on Tuesday, March 4, 2003, with a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by funeral mass. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lourdes High School or St Raphael's the Archangel Catholic Church.

  5. You Can See What You Missed!

Did you miss the 50th Birthday Party at LHS? You can now view the opening remarks, the humor of four of our faculty members, the revelation of the mystery classmate, and a comedy skit performed by the Merely Players, all video taped at our reunion on October 7, 2000.

The entertainment for the evening was an improv comedy group from Carthage College named the Merely Players. Here is just one of the many skits they performed, called "Guess My Confession."

  6. Screensavers NOW available as FREE download

You may remember seeing 3 different screensavers at our 50th Birthday Party. All 3 are now available for FREE from right here. Simply download one, two or all three. For those with older computers, or slow connections, I have removed the sound from the Class of 1968 screensaver and have also removed the sound from the Remembering LHS screensaver. If you have a newer computer (and patience), I recommend the screensavers with sound.

The Special Tribute to Our Friends screensaver is only available with sound, as the sound is a major effect in the special tribute to our 13 deceased classmates.

AND HEY ------- If you have any problems with downloading or installation, please email me at Of course, I'd also like to hear from you if you don't have any problems installing and viewing these screensavers. Please let me know what you think.

    Thank You .............. Den Esslinger
